We are looking for a structured, consistent and execution-focused HR Director to lead our people function through the next stage of growth and transformation. You will be responsible for designing and executing a people strategy that enables a high-performance, autonomous, and values-driven culture in a fully remote and distributed environment.
This is a pivotal leadership role with full accountability for culture, operations, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner closely with the executive team to shape how we scale, structure, and lead.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the company-wide people strategy, aligned with business goals and organizational priorities.
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all matters related to culture, organizational health, and leadership effectiveness.
- Drive cultural evolution to support scalable decision-making, clarity of ownership, and self-directed teams.
- Lead org design work to ensure structure, roles, and processes support strategic objectives.
- Build infrastructure that supports effective async collaboration and transparency in a remote setup.
- Oversee the design and implementation of core people programs: performance management, development, career frameworks, compensation philosophy, and engagement.
- Build and lead a high-performing people team, setting a clear vision, structure, and operating model for the function.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in HR/people leadership, including at least 3 years in an HR Director, VP people, or Head of people role.
- Proven track record of leading company-wide cultural and organizational transformation.
- Experience building or scaling HR functions in remote-first, fast-paced, and high-growth environments.
- Strong expertise in org design, performance systems, leadership development, and change management.
- Executive presence, with the ability to influence and challenge senior leadership constructively.
- Deep understanding of distributed work practices and experience leading global or cross-cultural teams.
- Analytical and systems thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
