The Role

Faraway is looking for a Senior QA Manual Engineer to join our Platform-Rift Team. At the core of our work is the Rift platform, which includes the DevPortal and Trading. This is our flagship product and the foundation of the entire ecosystem. Its central component is the $RIFT token, designed not just as a medium of exchange, but as a fundamental support layer for AI agents capable of participating in complex on-chain economies. With Rift, developers can create and enhance agent functionality through a module marketplace — enabling use cases ranging from blockchain node validation to NFT art generation and token management.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Participate in feature reviews and create testing plans.
• Document bug reports and monitor the resolution of previously identified bugs.
• Create test cases and checklists.
• Maintain and develop test documentation (test cases, checklists).
• Analyze testing results after each iteration.
• Prepare reports on the testing conducted.
• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure a deep understanding of user needs and product goals.
• Take a proactive role in shaping the quality of the product by contributing not only to testing strategy, but also to product decisions and feature prioritization.

What's Important to Us

• Experience as a QA Engineer in blockchain, crypto, AI — at least 4 years (Web or Mobile).
• Strong product mindset with the ability to understand user needs and the overall vision of the product.
• Proactive approach to quality assurance, with a willingness to contribute to product discussions, feature prioritization, and testing strategy beyond routine test execution.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing (especially of economic/business logic), bug tracking systems, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with data formats (XML, JSON) and the ability to work with them effectively.
• Experience in blockchain/crypto/AI projects and awareness of quality assurance specifics in these domains.
• Strong analytical and communication skills: ability to interpret product requirements, ask clarifying questions, identify issues, and clearly describe them.
• Proficiency in English — both written and spoken.
