DevOps Engineer (HPC)

Hey! We are Kupsilla, a global software development company. We create solutions in the field of life sciences, primarily for large and small pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to improve and maintenance alert and response solution and contribute to the development of a web-based user portal for a cutting-edge data science platform.

As a part of the US-based team, work hours will be until 1 pm EST.

About project

The platform helps to manage computational applications using a single REST API. We build a new solution for the customer and the first milestone is about running Molecular Dynamics and Protein Modelling computational tools from the API.

Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure implementation and maintenance, implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Alignment of solutions with project goals and documentation of workflows for seamless knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with customer’s engineering team.

Requirements

• English level B2+ and above is also needed to communicate with a team.

• Expertise in deploying and managing AWS Core services, AWS billing, configuring alert systems, and performing tasks related to CI/CD implementation.

• Proficiency in the following tech stack is essential:

  • AWS: Core Services, Lambda, CloudWatch, SageMaker, Batch, ParallelCluster (nice to have).
  • DevOps tools: CI/CD GitLab, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform with Terragrunt, CloudFormation), Packer.
  • Programming/scripting: Python, Bash.
  • Tools: Slurm, Open MPI, Kubernetes.
