QA Engineer (Trader Acquisition)

Your role at Exness

As a part of our Product Team, you will work on various projects with other QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and a Product Owner. You will manage QA activities such as writing test cases, performing exploratory testing, and assisting with automation testing to maintain the high-quality standards of our products and provide the best possible experience for our traders. You will streamline testing processes and own them from start to finish.

Our mission is to create the best-in-class mobile app for forex trading. It should be suitable for beginners and expert traders. Beginners should get an approachable introduction to finance and markets; experts should get unique tools to provide them with an edge against other traders. Non-traders and passers-by should be delighted simply by using the app because it utilizes all the latest platform features and holds a consistent design with a human in mind.

You will

• Plan and run test strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development process.
• Guide teammates on QA best practices and help define clear quality standards.
• Combine different testing methods and approaches to ensure optimal test coverage and enhance test framework & test infrastructure.
• Review the automated tests designed by the developers, and help them achieve the required test coverage.
• Provide manual testing of iOS and Android applications and test backend services.
• Help to ensure the quality, usability, and reliability of Exness products.
• Write automated UI tests on Swift or Kotlin, or both — if you don’t have a lot of experience there, we’ll help to gather some.
• Stay up to date with tools, systems, and the business domain.
• Support testing of larger, cross-team features and lead integration testing when needed.

What makes you a great fit

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in backend and mobile applications testing.
• Strong knowledge of the testing process, methodologies, approaches, and test design techniques.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of REST API and web services technologies.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Paw, etc.).
• Experience in automation with Python, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Experience with Allure and CI systems such as GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio is enough to be able to build the app from source code on their own.
• Is an advanced user of sniffers (Charles, Proxyman, etc.).
• Knows English at least at an intermediate level.

Your journey after applying

1. First interview with Talent Acquisition Specialist (up to 45 minutes).
2. Short online English test (for non-native speakers).
3. Technical Interview (1.5 hours).
4. Final interview (1 hour).

The starting salary mentioned is an indicative starting number and the final amount will depend on the personal tax specifics and level of seniority determined during the interview process. This is the base salary only, and the total compensation will also include the performance-based bonus and benefits/allowances.
