We are currently seeking a Product Analyst in Ultimate Guitar Monetization Team to play a pivotal role in supporting our team in running a large number of experiments. This role involves contributing ideas, conducting research, process and data modeling, pre-evaluating ideas, detailing logic, validating results, and ensuring decision-making processes that lead to sustainable long-term product development.
You won't hear water cooler chat about the weather here at Muse; here we are rating our favorite Prince albums and discussing Japanese punk.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle of hypothesis work (ideation, business requirements, designing and conducting experiments, post-analysis of results and insights discovering).
- Create financial and unit models.
- Develop tools and analyses to aid decision-making regarding product initiative prioritization.
- Construct batch and real-time data pipelines using data processing frameworks, demonstrating competency with existing data pipelines.
- Deliver scalable, testable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Drive optimization, testing, and tooling initiatives to enhance data quality.
- Develop insightful dashboards summarizing data.
- Collaborate with the backlog, prioritizing hypotheses based on predicted impact.
- Foster collaboration with engineers, product managers, and partners to address user-centric data problems effectively.
- Share knowledge and promote standard methodologies, fostering team improvement through mentorship and constructive accountability.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product / Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in SQL (any dialect), with familiarity with ClickHouse being advantageous.
- Proficiency in Python/R, including basic statistical, data engineering, and visualization libraries (or experience with other programming languages).
- Strong grasp of math, probability theory, and mathematical statistics, including practical experience conducting A/B tests and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with BI tools and ETL tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating and maintaining relationships with both business and technical teams.
- To be a proactive professional who contributes with ideas and solutions and can take responsibility for results.
- Product-oriented mindset with strong task-setting, planning, hypothesis generation, and project management abilities.
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment and have an ability to act in situations of uncertainty.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).
