Senior Infrastructure Research Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze international telecom channels, including Low-Latency connections.
• Manage procurement and vendor relations for internet and telecom services globally.
• Work with data center colocation providers across multiple regions.
• Coordinate purchases of server and network hardware worldwide.
• Configure virtual machines, overlay networks, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, AliCloud).
• Set up VPNs, IPsec, VPC/VPG/VGW/CGW, and related services.
• Manage Linux-based systems (Ubuntu), network rules (iptables, ferm), and routing.
• Configure Arista switches and FortiGate firewalls.
• Perform network testing, diagnostics, and optimization (BGP, MLAG, IP tuning).
• Actively engage in international IT projects and collaborate in English-speaking environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience with IP transit and large-scale networks.
• Strong command of UNIX/Linux systems and virtualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and FortiGate equipment.
• English proficiency for international collaboration and project management.
• Self-driven, analytical mindset, and comfortable working remotely.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with hardware firewalls, network automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
