Anti-fraud Analyst

We’re looking for someone who’s open to moving to Mexico (we’ll help with relocation), but we’re flexible — we also consider remote candidates who have already relocated from Russia or Belarus.

Anti-fraud Team

• The Anti-Fraud Team is a data-driven unit focused on preventing harmful activity on customer accounts and ensuring the security of funds. The team also works to mitigate risks and prevent attacks targeting the company itself. All solutions are developed in-house, end-to-end, ensuring the flexibility and reliability of both systems and processes.

Challenges that await you

• Analyze, test, and implement anti-fraud rules based on macro data and specific cases.
• Be responsible for main anti-fraud KPIs such as precision, recall, and false-positive rates.
• Interact with the development team to integrate anti-fraud measures into existing systems.
• Risk-assess new projects to identify potential fraud risks and develop mitigation mechanisms.
• Build and optimize processes for the operational team to ensure efficient fraud detection and prevention.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• React to emerging fraud trends and new technologies to continuously improve anti-fraud strategies.

What makes you a great fit

• 2+ years of experience working with anti-fraud modeling in the banking or financial services industry.
• General understanding of banking processes and the regulatory environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a current student, preferably in Math, Physics, IT, Economics, or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience working with development and cross-functional teams to implement anti-fraud solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and a willingness to solve problems with data-driven decisions.
• Confident written and spoken English skills.
