Your role at Future State

Statecraft (Future State) is a pioneering digital solution that enables online communities to experiment with novel governance models, ultimately facilitating their evolution into Network States.

We are looking for a self-motivated and versatile DevOps Engineer to join the Technology Team of Future State. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our growing team, you will also be implementing best practices for automation, deployment, and scalability. You will

• Design and implement infrastructure using IaC tools to ensure scalable and reproducible environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable application delivery.
• Identify opportunities for automation across the development and operations lifecycle, promoting efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
• Optimize system performance and ensure infrastructure scalability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for proactive issue identification and resolution, and ensure robust logging practices.
• Work closely with security team to ensure security best practices.

What makes you a great fit

• 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (i.e., GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Comfortable working with IaC tools.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment by being adaptable, resourceful, and willing to take on various responsibilities as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Advantages

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or any other are a plus.

• Technical interview (1,5 hour).
• Final Interview (1 hour).

Please note that relocation in Cyprus is required after passing your 3-month probation.
