We expect QA Engineers to advocate for quality, usability, and timely delivery by finding optimum solutions and navigating through complex processes elegantly. A systematic approach to assessing and managing issues is crucial for this role.
Our tech stack and tools
- Backend: Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse.
- Frontend: Vue2, JavaScript.
- Automation: JavaScript, Playwright.
- Instruments: BrowserStack, Grafana, Jira, Notion, TestRail, Postman, DataGrip.
Responsibilities
- Manual UI and API testing for web and mobile platforms.
- Detect, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to an issue and project tracking software.
- Oversee implementation processes as well as live integrations and advise on improvements.
- Be a reliable, friendly source of feedback on new functionality and features.
- Have good knowledge of all testing stages (i.e., regression, smoke, sanity).
- Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans.
- Create, execute, analyze test cases, and localize defects.
- Validate bug fixes.
- Arrange QA activities in line with release schedules.
- Provide regular updates on testing to the colleagues in the development.
Requirements
- Knowledge of testing theory (from “Static testing” to “Test Design Techniques”).
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): understanding its stages and ability to explain processes and best practices clearly.
- Ability to apply theory in practice.
- 2 or more years of manual testing.
- Knowledge of SQL (SELECTs, JOINs, Subqueries).
- Knowledge of the main principles of how the Internet works.
- Experience with manual testing tools from our stack or similar analogues.
- Excellent fault-finding, debugging, and diagnostic skills.

- You have ISTQB certification.
- You have experience in automation testing.
- You have experience as a Release Manager.
- You are experienced in working in the FinTech industry.
