Senior Golang Developer

Our system engineers create ultra-low-latency solutions. We use cutting-edge hardware, the latest compilers, and Linux operating system versions. It allows us to create and maintain a trading framework that adapts to any new markets or market changes fast, is scalable, flexible, and provides perfect performance and reliability.

At the moment, we are looking for a Senior Go Developer for the new generation trading system. The backend component is a bridge between traders (web clients, connected via websockets) and all components of the trading system. The trading system is globally distributed across hundreds of servers, each running tens or even hundreds of software nodes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Go port of messaging framework that provides a high-level API for direct communication with any component of a trading system.
• Implement and support Go port of proprietary message serialization library, that is used across the system (C++, Python, JS ports are already implemented).
• Design and implement frontend communication protocol with efficiency and scalability in mind.
• Implement the backend that manages client authorization and delivery of requested data streams in an efficient way.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, implement helper microservices to distribute load when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience with software development in Go.
• Experience with raw TCP sockets, Websockets, and REST.
• Ability to write understandable, testable code.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Ability to read and understand C/C++ code.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and ideas to other people.
• Experience in developing Infrastructure/Databases/Cloud services or Search engine.
