Position overview

The Fullstack Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable web applications. This role requires hands-on expertise in both server-side and client-side technologies, with a focus on pure PHP and MySQL for backend development and pure JavaScript (ES6) for creating engaging frontend experiences. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products that drive user satisfaction and the company’s overall digital success.

Key responsibilities

Backend development

• Development & coding:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in pure PHP.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate frontend and backend systems.

• Database management:

  • Design and optimize complex MySQL queries and database schemas.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and security.

• Quality & testing:

  • Conduct thorough code tests to identify and fix bugs, defects, and vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

Frontend development

• User interface:

  • Develop responsive, dynamic, and interactive UIs using pure JavaScript (ES6).
  • Transform design mockups into high-quality HTML and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

• Enhancements & debugging:

  • Implement dynamic features to improve user experience.
  • Regularly test and refine code for performance and responsiveness.

Required skills & qualifications:

Technical expertise

• Backend:

  • Extensive experience with pure PHP for server-side development.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, including complex queries and database optimization.

• Frontend:

  • Proficient in pure JavaScript (ES6), capable of building dynamic, responsive interfaces.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and design-to-HTML conversion.
  • Knowledge of CSS pre-processors (e.g., SASS or LESS) is a plus.

• Optional:

  • Experience with React.js is beneficial.

Collaboration and communication

• Excellent team player with a strong ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and precision.

Problem-solving & analytical skills

• Demonstrated strength in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing code.
• Ability to analyze issues critically and resolve them efficiently.
