Data Product Manager (Big Data)

We are looking for a Data Product Manager in the Information Technology division in Limassol, Cyprus.

The Data Product Manager is a role in the Big Data Team (BDT) that is responsible for defining, developing, and managing data products within the Data Lake. This role combines elements of product ownership and data analytics, ensuring that data is effectively collected, stored, processed, and utilized to maximize business value, enable data-driven decision-making, and support key initiatives across the organization.

You will

• Define the vision and roadmap for data products, aligning them with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts from different business domains to identify requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
• Lead the development and enhancement of the Data Lake, ensuring data quality, governance, and accessibility.
• Perform data analysis to prepare showcases for stakeholders, validate data accuracy, and support decision-making.
• Manage the backlog of data-related initiatives, prioritizing tasks based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Control Data Management procedures within the projects.

What makes you a great fit

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical product management.
• Good data-analysis skills, 3 years or more of Business Intelligence (BI), Machine Learning (ML), or analytics experience.
• Hands-on experience with Data Lakes (HDFS/MinIO, Spark, Trino, columnar databases stack).
• You can create simple Proof of Concept (PoC) in a Python notebook and use SQL (especially with pandas) in your daily work.
• Nice to have experience in customer interviews, surveys, and UX testing.
• Advanced in verbal and written communication, upper-intermediate English (written and spoken).
• Relevant industry experience is a plus (Trading, Fintech, Gaming, Paid online courses).
• Experience in Business System Analysis would be a big plus.

The starting salary mentioned is an indicative starting number, and the final amount will depend on the personal tax specifics and level of seniority determined during the interview process. This is the base salary only, and the total compensation will also include the performance-based bonus and benefits/allowances.
