Senior iOS Developer (Swift)

Hey there, it’s the Flipper Devices team!

We are the creators behind Flipper Zero, a portable multi-tool designed for engineers. Compact enough to slip into a pocket, it stands prepared to analyze both wired and radio protocols, copy contact and contactless keys, and offer a range of other features. Flipper captivates both technology enthusiasts and those new to the field. We’re currently working on a new product — a productivity app called Busy App. It will be available on mobile (iOS + Android), wearable devices (watchOS + Wear OS), and desktop (Windows + macOS).

We are looking for an iOS Developer to join our London office. You will be responsible for building and evolving applications for iOS, watchOS, and macOS.

The company assists with relocation from Europe if the candidate has an RTW in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining applications for iOS, macOS, and watchOS.
• Researching and exploring platform APIs related to productivity and focus features.
• Maintaining the public repository: monitoring issues, reviewing pull requests, and engaging with the community.
• Implementing seamless communication between the app and devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
• Supporting the professional growth and skill development of less experienced team members.

Your skills

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift Concurrency.
• Strong skills in task planning and timely delivery.

Nice to have:

• Background in external communication or contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi Zeroconf.
• Deep understanding of iOS platform specifics and ongoing tracking of platform updates.
• Familiarity with development for watchOS and macOS.
• Practical use of Screen Time API.
• Proficiency in WidgetKit and ActivityKit.
