We are seeking a Network & Infrastructure Team Lead to join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will lead our Infrastructure Team, overseeing the systems that underpin our entire business operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest levels of security, performance, and reliability across all facets of our infrastructure, including networks, servers (both bare-metal and cloud-based), application clusters, data storage solutions, and development platforms.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the performance of networks, hardware, and software.
- Build and maintain network infrastructure, including site-to-site VPNs, client VPNs, firewalls, and policy-based routing.
- Implement and enhance application automation, configuration, and deployment toolkits.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, focusing on computing and networking.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing mentorship to team members, including setting priorities and delegating tasks.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of experience in IT engineering roles, specializing in networking, bare-metal and cloud servers, application clusters, storage, and development infrastructure.
- Proven experience as a team leader, demonstrating the ability to manage and mentor a technical team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including BGP/OSPF, policy-based routing, IPSec, and familiarity with hardware routers such as Fortigate and Cisco.
- Proficient in using Ansible to create roles and playbooks.
- Strong understanding of the Linux operating system, encompassing network and system configuration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the capacity to address challenges promptly and effectively.
