Senior Data Engineer

We are currently looking for Senior Data Engineers who will work with our Customer Relationships & Service, Trading and Information Technology teams, focused on providing data driven solutions. The successful candidate will be working on exciting projects with cutting-edge technologies.

You will

• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements (business cases).
• Prepare datasets from various sources by request.
• Take care of data warehousing as a process.
• Implement and support data model changes.
• Develop new integrations and data marts.
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Describe entities and lineage in our data catalog.

What makes you a great fit

• Strong experience with relational databases like Vertica, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and similar.
• Technical knowledge of RDBMS database design in data warehousing context and query optimization.
• Сonsiderable expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data storage, data security, data quality.
• Experience building ETLs/ELTs to take from various data sources and process data.
• Python skills associated with ETL, ETL tools (e.g., dbt).
• Expert Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge.
• Understanding of base principles CI/CD in the data processing area.
• Experience with Data Catalog frameworks using.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Spoken and written at least Intermediate English.
• Detail-oriented and critical thinking.
• Decision-making and adapting to new changes.
• Write concise and clear documentation.
• Deal with constructive critics and know how to develop relationships with the team to achieve common goals.
• A good work ethic.

Work experience with MPP databases experience is a plus.

Your journey after applying

• TA Interview (30 minutes).

The starting salary mentioned is an indicative starting number, and the final amount will depend on the personal tax specifics and level of seniority determined during the interview process. This is the base salary only, and the total compensation will also include the performance-based bonus and benefits/allowances.
