We’re looking for a talented Lead ML Engineer to develop and scale cutting-edge AI technologies, seamlessly integrating them into our products. We need someone ready to inspire and lead the ML team, drive innovation, and deliver real business value.
You'll be in a small but experienced team of like-minded professionals who have built successful products before. You will be fully remote — work from wherever you’re most productive and inspired. However, at this time, we require candidates to be based outside of Russia.
Key responsibilities
- Research, design, develop and deploy machine learning models.
- Optimize and enhance LLMs for various NLP tasks.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient ML workflows.
- Stay updated on NLP and LLM research, applying innovations to product development.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering, specializing in both classical ML and LLM solutions.
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (PyTorch), with hands-on experience in MLOps (Airflow, MLflow), NLP (Transformers, LLMs), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, will be a plus experience with Virtuozzo Hybrid Cloud), and CI/CD pipelines with version control (Git).
- Experience as ML Researcher.
- Proven leadership in managing ML teams, with a strong focus on mentorship, motivation, and strategic execution.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Ability to build and scale an ML division, transforming it into a key business growth driver.
- Highly communicative and organized, ensuring efficient problem-solving and seamless collaboration.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
