Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts for data extraction and transformation using Python.
• Write SQL queries, including nested queries, joins, and window functions.
• Create and maintain DAGs in Apache Airflow for task automation and data processing.
• Set up data pipelines to prepare information for BI analytics and reporting.
• Optimize, debug, and improve existing workflows and scripts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Python Developer in a product company.
• A degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including nested queries, joins, and window functions.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, including DAG creation, configuration, and management.
• Knowledge of Docker for building and managing containerized applications.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Experience in preparing data for BI tools and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, DataLens, Superset).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Julia.
• Experience with Zeppelin.
• Experience with Spark.
• Basic knowledge of finance, particularly an understanding of cryptocurrency markets.
