For our client, a fintech company and expert in payment technologies providing comprehensive solutions for accepting, processing, and managing payments worldwide, we are seeking a Senior Backend Python Engineer.
We are considering candidates located in Europe (Lithuania, Cyprus, Poland, Portugal preferably).
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of experts to ensure our banking services are efficient, scalable, and sustainable. Your contributions will be instrumental in launching a new product that will open fresh verticals for our company.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in Python.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with technologies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, SQLAlchemy (Hazelcast or Redis preferred, but not mandatory).
- Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and contributing to a shared vision.
- A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and delivering meaningful customer experiences.
