Information Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct Security Audits.

  • Analyze current systems and infrastructure to ensure compliance with security requirements.

• Implement Security Controls.

  • Develop and implement security controls to protect data and information.
  • Create and manage requests for system modifications to improve security measures.
  • Test and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented controls.

• Incident Analysis and Risk Management.

  • Monitor systems for security incidents, analyze, and respond to identified threats.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide reports with recommendations for resolution.

• Develop and Update Security Policies.

  • Develop and maintain internal security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Educate employees on security fundamentals and compliance with internal rules and policies.

• Technical Support and Consulting.

  • Provide technical support on security issues to other departments.
  • Advise project teams on integrating security measures into developments.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in security operations or IT security role.
• Understanding of information security principles, best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to convey complex security concepts clearly and understandably to employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

Nice to have

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as ISO27001, ISO27701, PCI DSS, GDPR, and others.
