We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Product Manager / Head of Product to lead the product vision, strategy, and prioritization for the ongoing evolution of a software product that we consider our business engine.

We need your extensive overall experience in leading the continuous development of commercial software products with several customer segments and direct access to all customers. For instance, you could create B2B or B2B2C platforms or internal products with clear business impact and strong mechanics of internal economics.

While you may not initially possess certain aspects critical for success in this role, such as in-depth knowledge of our specific product and business domain, you will have the full support of our experts to help you navigate challenges and uncharted waters as you learn.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep passion for creating business value by skilfully balancing immediate results with long-term strategic goals across multiple value-generating streams. We’re seeking someone who embodies genuine leadership, thrives in teamwork, and combines professional confidence with self-awareness. Your open-mindedness, paired with impressive experience and expertise, will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and ensure transparency of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Maximize the progress towards strategic goals.
Prioritization: Collaborate with various customers as well as cross-functional teams to prioritize problems and opportunities to be addressed, while ensuring transparency of priorities and respective work items.
Value Centricity: Maximize the balanced immediate and strategic value of the work undertaken on the product across multiple value streams. Promote the continuous focus on value maximization instead of artificial scope-time commitments.
Flow Adaptability: Promote the capability of teams to work in small iterations of complete value-creation as necessary to swiftly change work direction with low switching costs.
Customer Focus: Engage with customers to gather insights, validate concepts, and manage their expectations.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key product characteristics and measure their improvement.
Data-Enabled Decision Making: Promote the need for balanced data-enabled decision-making in product development while applying critical thinking to the insights derived from data-based indicators.
Collaboration: Contribute to building strong teamwork with cross-functional teams where a safe environment is built upon shared goals as the most important to achieve.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of proven experience in product management with full decision-making authority from work priorities up to product strategy and vision, and with budget responsibility.
Option 1: B2B or B2B2C commercial products (ideally in the financial industry) with a limited number of customers (not mass products). Option 2: internal business-critical products in the financial industry.
Products with high commercial and compliance risks.
Strong analytical, systemic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong proponent of developing products through short iterations dedicated to learning from small workable product increments. Understanding of philosophy and possessing experience with practices behind agile product development.
Readiness to massively learn the product and business domain.
