Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionality using PHP/Go.
• Contribute to the product’s technical documentation in Confluence.
• Contribute to the development platform by creating self-services and automating trivial CI/CD tasks (e.g., deploy, merge, policy compliance).
• Interact with AI tools in various workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
• Take operational responsibility for the functionality of products.
• Demonstrate interest in improving the stability and quality of product delivery.
• Suggest ideas to enhance the development experience within the company.
• Write clean, testable code, including unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in team development.
• Solid knowledge of PHP.
• Proficiency in Go will be a significant advantage.
• Understanding of decomposition principles, OOP, and design patterns.
• Strong teamwork skills, friendliness, and the ability to achieve common goals.
• English proficiency at a B1 level or higher.
• Readiness to work in an English-speaking environment (everyone has access to all ChatGPT models).
• Understanding of CI/CD systems such as Docker, Gitlab, and Kubernetes, as automation tasks will be required.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a Kanban environment.

Additional skills:

• Experience conducting technical research and solving complex problems.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform technologies (CloudSQL, PubSub, Cloud Run) or other cloud providers.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, including infrastructure for integration tests.
• In-depth knowledge of working with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Experience working in teams using Agile methodologies.
