We are a global algo trading company fully dedicated to technology. Our brilliant team comprises 100+ individuals scattered across the globe. Seventy percent of our team members are technical specialists, encompassing development, infrastructure, testing, and analytics, while the rest comprise business units, including operations, legal, finance, etc.

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure the seamless operation and high performance of our database clusters. In addition to administering and maintaining 24/7 database uptime, you will contribute to the development of modern infrastructure solutions that accelerate the company's product and service development.

We need an expert who is eager to explore, analyze, and optimize our current infrastructure, tackle complex performance challenges, and share knowledge with our DevOps team.

Responsibilities

Manage existing ClickHouse and PostgreSQL clusters.
Build scalable and fault-tolerant database clusters.
Configure and optimize ClickHouse and PostgreSQL instances.
Set up replication, sharding, configure Keeper, and support backup processes.
Implement monitoring systems.
Design data warehouse architectures.
Optimize ClickHouse performance.
Troubleshoot complex incidents related to database and infrastructure performance.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience with ClickHouse, including knowledge of replication mechanisms, engine operations, indexes, and sharding (experience with PostgreSQL is a plus).
Over 3 years of experience in IT systems administration.
At least 1 year of Linux administration experience.
Strong understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Proficiency in Bash and SQL.
A desire to grow in ClickHouse, learn new technologies, and share expertise with the team.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Ansible and Python scripting.
Experience setting up Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
