Analytics Manager

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Plan and oversee the teams workflow, prioritizing projects and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of analytical solutions.
• Strategic Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical frameworks and strategic recommendations.
• Design and implement key metrics, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools that support decision-making for the Matching team Data.
• Architecture and Engineering: Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements.
• Supervise the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure accurate, high-quality data is available for analysis.
• Advanced Data Analytics and Modelling: Design, build, and improve dynamic matching models and algorithms to efficiently connect riders with drivers in real-time.
• Ensure that dispatching systems are scalable, adaptable to fluctuating demand and supply, and aligned with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement matching solutions and seamlessly integrate them into our platform.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, business, and engineering teams to ensure analytics align with overall strategies.
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the Matching team.
• Reporting and Communication: Present analytical findings to executive leadership, clearly articulating insights, implications, and recommended actions.
• Develop standardized reporting practices to provide consistent, accurate, and valuable information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: at least Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Data Science, PhD in a relevant field is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience: at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Math an emphasis on statistics, control and discrete optimization theory, and auction mechanics, SQL, Python, data visualization tools Tableau, Redash, and familiarity with high load services.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong business acumen.
• Mindset: Problem-solving attitude, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
