Equities eTrading UI – is a global Investment Banking project to renovate UI for the global Equities High Frequency Trading Platform.
Working in close collaboration with business stakeholders (including Traders, Quants, Analytics and Coverage) the development team is bringing out a new generation Web UI for the existing Equities Algo trading platform executing many millions of client orders daily with a sub-millisecond latency.
Front-End is developed within a micro frontends paradigm using the latest Angular and OpenFin framework for micro frontends interoperability and layouting.
Back-End is a lightweight Core Java process that acts as an integration layer for other Bank systems and services.

Working in their project you
- Will learn how modern financial markets and stock exchanges are organized, what is an algorithmic high-frequency trading nowadays, how data capturing and analyzes helps to improve trading algorithms, how the real life in financial industry looks and feels as compared to «Flash boys» book and what happened since it was released.
- You will take part in a full cycle of products creation and improvement starting from Architecture/UX decisions, collaboration with end-users to clarify functional requirements, requirements implementation, end-user demos, till new services production environment releases and support.
Skills and Requirements
- Good understanding of Computer Science Algorithms and Data Structures.
- Hands-on experience in minimum one of the following technology stacks.
- WebUI: JS/TS, modern HTML, CSS/SCSS, Angular or React or Vue.
- Work experience in the software development industry.
- Intermediate+ level of written and spoken English.
- Confident Linux user.
It will be a big plus if you
- Have an HTML design experience.
- Know Core Java + web frameworks (Spring Boot, Ktor, Jersey, ..).
- Know how to organize and automate end-to-end testing for Web applications.
- Worked with Container and/or Cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ..).
- Know C# WPF.
