Senior Golang Developer

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Go port of messaging framework that provides a high level API for direct communication with any component of a trading system.
• Implement and support Go port of the proprietary message serialization library, that is used across the system (C++, Python, JS ports are already implemented).
• Design and implement frontend communication protocols with efficiency and scalability in mind.
• Implement the backend that manages client authorization and delivery of requested data streams efficiently.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks; implement helper microservices to distribute load, when needed.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience with software development in Go.
• Experience with raw TCP sockets, Web sockets and REST.
• Ability to write understandable, testable code.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Ability to read and understand C/C++ code.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and ideas to other people.
