Trading Operations Specialist

Tasks

• Managing trading instruments in trading systems (adding/removing instruments, changing order size).
• Responding to err/warn in product logs according to a pre-agreed algorithm of actions.
• Development of monitoring dashboards.
• Development of alerts for various market events.
• Monitoring and timely response to news (listing, delisting of instruments/currencies, etc.).
• Development of services to automate Trading Operations team activities according to the pre-agreed Terms of Reference.

Requirements

• Previous 1+ year experience in Technical L3 Support, Trading Analysis or Trade Support.
• Background in trading, brokerage, hedge funds, exchanges, or related areas.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language: Python/Julia/Lua/Matlab.
• Experience with SQL queries; understanding of join, group by, window functions.
• Ability to find and combine information from different sources and promptly report any “oddities” found.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• English B1+.

Would be a plus

• Higher technical education.
• Experience with TradingView, Grafana, Tableau.
• Knowledge of basic trading terminology (trading terminal, broker, order book, deal, bid/ask, spread).
• Experience with automated trading systems.
• Experience with traditional trading exchanges or with cryptocurrency exchanges.
