Lead QA Engineer (Manual)

Responsibilities

• Manual testing (functional + exploratory, 100% backend).
• Monitoring and configuring test environments.
• Implementing incident analysis processes, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Establishing and overseeing quality gates.
• Analysing draft issues on dev environments reported by QA.
• Implementing shift-left testing.
• Responding to alerts from dev environments.
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Creating a coverage map (Manual/Auto/Alerts).

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on manual backend testing in a product IT company.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and experience working with it in production environments.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Proven experience in establishing QA processes and conducting incident analysis (e.g., RCA, post-mortems).
• English proficiency at the level of reading and writing technical documentation (B1–B2).
• Strong leadership skills and a desire to grow into a team management role.

Interest in trading or experience in independent trading is a plus.
