The company is a part of the largest international financial corporation with more than 200 years of history, and it is looking for Senior System Administrator.

You can work in a hybrid mode or fully remotely in Moscow.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diverse technology instruments to support large server and database environments across multiple locations in Moscow, support of middleware solutions, integration platforms and Databases based on requests / problem reports.
• Interact with developing and engineering teams.
• Maintain up-to-date inventories according to Citi Records Management policy.
• Maintain COB (Disaster Recovery) infrastructure, onsite support of COB rehearsals.
• Comply with change management process, implement changes for infrastructure services.
• Manage and support integration solutions, infrastructure management tools and database engines at the level of infrastructure.
• Follow backup procedures in accordance with Citi Media Management policies.
• Closely interact with local vendors re: server hardware and software support in Russian.
• Work in shifts, when required. Participation in an on-call rotation (including late night, weekends and public holidays site visits on short notice).
• Priorities, classify and resolve problems utilizing remote tools and distributed teams where necessary.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Linux based web-servers/application servers: Apache Tomcat, Nginx(Angie),Wildfy.
• In-depth knowledge of messaging technologies: Apache Kafka, MQ, Debezium (is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of MS infrastructure products: Windows Server, IIS, SCCM, SCOM, Terminal Services etc.
• Experience with database infrastructure and management tools (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Understanding of data platforms like Hadoop or Greenplum that provide for structured and unstructured data, fault tolerance and high availability.
• Configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef/Puppet.
• Understanding container platforms and management, like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK.
• Experience providing technical support in the complex infrastructure across on-premises, 3rd party hosted. Public Cloud platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of HP, Dell and local vendors x86 platforms.
• In-depth understanding of Backup, Archival, Web, Middleware, Database, Security and Encryption. Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, local Russian platforms based on KVM) is a plus. Experience with performance modeling, capacity analysis, and capacity planning.
• Knowledgeable and live experience in implementation and support of Russian / Open Source market of corporate infrastructure SW server and desktop OS, virtualization platforms, ITSM tools, directory services, monitoring, InfoSec, instant messaging and audio/video conference platforms etc is a strong plus.
• Background in technology and infrastructure provisioning preferred.
• Automation via Bash or Python.
• At least 5 years of experience required.

• Must be able to analyze the financial aspects of technology.

Education

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certificate is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of supporting enterprise infrastructure in financial organization.
• Foundational knowledge of ITIL.
