Alpha Tech Lab is developing quantitative strategies for trading futures on several markets across the globe. We believe in rewarding innovation and dedication, offering a share of our trading profits to reflect the impact of our employees on the company's performance.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated C++ Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing low and ultra low latency connectors to various global exchanges. You will work closely with our trading and quantitative research teams to ensure our trading systems run with the utmost efficiency and minimal latency.

Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize low and ultra low latency connectors to various financial exchanges.
Collaborate with trading and quant teams to understand their needs and translate them into high-performance code.
Enhance the performance and reliability of our trading systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to market connectivity.
Contribute to the architecture and design of our trading infrastructure.
Continuously monitor and improve system performance to stay ahead of market demands.

Minimal requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in C++.

Nice to have

Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
Experience in developing low-latency systems, ideally in a trading environment.
Experience working with kernel bypass frameworks (Onload).
Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast.
Familiarity with exchange connectivity protocols (FIX/FAST).
Experience working with FPGAs.
