We are seeking a talented SRE for Kafka Streaming Platform to join an international team at a leading digital payments company.
Responsibilities
- Understand Kafka architecture, including Producers, Consumers, Topics, and Partitions.
- Monitor platforms and follow Runbooks/SOPs to resolve issues.
- Manage cluster maintenance and implement changes per installation plans.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing preventive solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and enhance system reliability.
- Automate tasks using scripts and tools to reduce manual work and errors.
Requirements
- 2+ years as an SRE for Kafka Platform.
- Expertise in Kafka components: producers, consumers, topics, partitions.
- Troubleshoot Kafka services and applications.
- Automate tasks with Ansible, Shell, and Python.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
Project Details
- Required Languages: English (B2).
- B2B cooperation.
- Hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the Warsaw office.
- Working hours: 9:00–18:00 CET.
