We are seeking a talented SRE for Kafka Streaming Platform to join an international team at a leading digital payments company.

Responsibilities

Understand Kafka architecture, including Producers, Consumers, Topics, and Partitions.
Monitor platforms and follow Runbooks/SOPs to resolve issues.
Manage cluster maintenance and implement changes per installation plans.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing preventive solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and enhance system reliability.
Automate tasks using scripts and tools to reduce manual work and errors.

Requirements

2+ years as an SRE for Kafka Platform.
Expertise in Kafka components: producers, consumers, topics, partitions.
Troubleshoot Kafka services and applications.
Automate tasks with Ansible, Shell, and Python.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, networking, and distributed systems.

Project Details

Required Languages: English (B2).
B2B cooperation.
Hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the Warsaw office.
Working hours: 9:00–18:00 CET.
