SRE (Kafka Streaming Platform)

Responsibilities

• Understand Kafka architecture, including Producers, Consumers, Topics, and Partitions.
• Monitor platforms and follow Runbooks/SOPs to resolve issues.
• Manage cluster maintenance and implement changes per installation plans.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing preventive solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and enhance system reliability.
• Automate tasks using scripts and tools to reduce manual work and errors.

Requirements

• 2+ years as an SRE for Kafka Platform.
• Expertise in Kafka components: producers, consumers, topics, partitions.
• Troubleshoot Kafka services and applications.
• Automate tasks with Ansible, Shell, and Python.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, networking, and distributed systems.

Project Details

• Required Languages: English (B2).
• B2B cooperation.
• Hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the Warsaw office.
• Working hours: 9:00–18:00 CET.
