Xsolla App is a super app for gamers, consisting of mini-apps representing products by Xsolla and 3rd parties. The core functionality revolves around allowing users to earn and spend virtual currency across various games and services. We are focused on creating a unique user experience, ensuring seamless integration of multiple gaming services and applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to head our team developing a cross-platform mobile application. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mobile development, experience in leading teams, and a deep understanding of software development processes. This role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on development, with a focus on delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
Provide technical guidance to the team, particularly in React Native and TypeScript, or be willing to quickly ramp up and lead by example in these technologies.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment in app stores (both iOS and Android).
Manage a team of 4+ developers, providing mentorship, performance assessments, and fostering professional growth.
Participate in hiring processes to expand the team, ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber talent.
Conduct regular code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure high standards of code quality across the team.
Implement and adapt Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to keep the team aligned and motivated.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process, ensuring timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
Dedicate a portion of your time to actively writing and reviewing code, ensuring you remain deeply connected to the technical aspects of the project.
Drive the architecture and development of key features, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in mobile development.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A passion for staying current with industry trends and continuously improving both personal and team skills.
Proficiency in English sufficient for reading technical documentation and participating in project discussions.
