IT Architect (Russia Cloud Platform)

Responsibilities

• Own and define the Platform architecture and technical roadmap.
• Drive technical changes and improvements in the Platform.
• Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders, vendors and specialists to translate requirements into a prioritized backlog of user stories for the Platform team to implement.
• Act as an ambassador for the Platform, and as the primary contact for technical queries, new feature requests and product roadmap plans.
• Articulate the features and benefits of chosen solutions and products.
• Understand the internal customer’s business drivers and how to map these toan available technical landscape.
• Provide technical leadership in the Requirements Discovery, Solution Development, and Solution Proposal stages of solution planning cycle.

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in a customer facing IT technical role, preferably in multinational enterprise environments.
• A proven IT architect, able to think big and define a bold vision, but also able to drill down into the details as needed.
• Hands-on, and “does what it takes” attitude to drive success Team player with strong drive and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communicator, able to present complex ideas understandably and persuasively.
• Recognized thought leader in the following areas: public cloud services, cloud-native infrastructure management and application development, modern software engineering and DevOps tools, API-based data integration.
• Specialist knowledge of the following products, ideally with appropriate certifications: AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect is essential), Terraform, Ansible, Elastic, Jenkins, Mulesoft, Bitbucket, Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum.
• University degree.
• Fluent English and Russian (spoken and written).
