Scrum Master

You will

• Facilitate scrum events (stand-up, grooming, planning, demo, and retrospective) and coach team members to achieve their sprint commitments and maintain a sustainable pace.
• Foster open communication and collaboration between development teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, ensuring that the product backlog is well-defined, prioritised, and understood by all relevant parties.
• Identify and proactively address impediments that may hinder the progress of the team; collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to find solutions to problems and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Collect and analyze data related to agile processes, such as sprint progress, cycle time, and burn-down charts. Provide insights into the team's performance and highlight areas that may require attention. Offer data-driven recommendations for improving the team's efficiency and productivity.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and adaptation to drive ongoing enhancements in the team's practices.
• Identify and assess risks associated with the project, such as scope changes, resource constraints, or dependencies.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and work closely with teams to address potential issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including product backlogs, release plans, and compliance-related documents.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
• Proficiency in Agile tools and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
• Excellent communication, documentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution abilities. Leadership and mentoring skills to guide teams toward self-sufficiency.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• English (Upper-intermediate).
