PaaS Team Lead

You will

As a Technical Lead:

• Work together with business partners and product teams and understand their needs, requirements, pain points and future plans.
• Be responsible for the technologies and tools used by your team, evaluate them, and drive their implementation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot product incidents with the team, and implement changes to predict and prevent future incidents.
• Participate in quarterly planning, setting goals for the team, and evaluating their achievements.
• Participate in the preparation of reports, including reports on resource allocation and team progress for various periods.
• Work with the team to find technical solutions to business problems.
• Interact with the head of software development and other team leaders to identify interconnections between products and build an appropriate, compatible architecture.
• Together with the team, develop, implement, and maintain procedures and standards for product development across the business unit.
• Solve problems independently according to your professional skills.

As a Line Manager:

• Lead the team in line with existing policies and procedures: hire new members, review team performance, support the achievement of consistent results, and be responsible for other management tasks.
• Together with the Learning & Development department and HR Business Partners, develop and mentor all team members, and help them improve their performance and achieve the best possible results.
• Drive team motivation and inspire your colleagues to perform at their best.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development in cross-functional teams using various programming languages, preferably Python or Golang on the backend and React or TypeScript on the frontend.
• 3+ years working with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of the platform engineering concept and how to implement it.
• 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead, managing people and building effective teams.
• Good knowledge of secret management.
• Good understanding of IAM and different solutions.
• Experience with hiring, replacing, and interviewing team members.
• Good knowledge of the full software development cycle.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use advanced English for different work & business purposes.
