Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable multi-cloud, multi-region architecture (AWS, Yandex Cloud).
• Lead the automation of operational processes, system deployments, and application scaling.
• Oversee the work of the DevOps team.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate software release processes.
• Collaborate with Development and Security teams to create a comprehensive Infrastructure as Code (IAC) strategy.
• Monitor and ensure system performance, availability, and security.
• Maintain compliance with industry security standards, including but not limited to PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2.
• Be proactive in identifying potential issues and provide scalable solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and architectures.

Skills and qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or Travis CI.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining security protocols and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC 2).
• Strong scripting skills in Shell or Python.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fintech domain experience is a strong plus.
