Head of Engineering

Key duties

• Direct and supervise a geographically dispersed team of engineers throughout Asia.
• Formulate and implement engineering strategies that support the company's goals.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.

• Offer technical advice and mentorship to engineers.
• Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with departments like product management, customer success, product marketing, and operations to align and support engineering efforts.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for engineering staff.
• Track and report on engineering team performance using metrics and KPIs to drive enhancements.
• Coordinate with international stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration across different time zones and cultures.
