Senior Devops/Senior Linux Administrator

Responsibilities

• Research and adoption tools and technologies.
• Direct participation in the development of internal and public products of the company.
• Writing code for automatic configuration of developed products and automation of processes.
• Writing tests to verify the functionality of written code.
• Reviewing code and documentation changes made by colleagues.
• Assisting colleagues (including those from other departments) with troubleshooting complicated cases (diagnosing, localizing, resolving bugs and failures).
• Writing accompanying internal documentation for the developed products.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals: Linux (administration and internals), Storage, Networking (BGP, VXLANs, host routing).
• Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management software.
• Understanding and work experience with at least some HA solutions (pacemaker, database solutions: Galera/etcd).
• Practical experience and understanding of principles of CI/CD and infrastructure testing.
• Experience and solid understanding of metric-based monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Python or Go programming language.

Nice to have experience with:

• Kubernetes.
• EBPF.
• Ceph or similar class distributed storage system.
• Open vSwitch or other SDN solution.
• OpenStack.
