We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (Nginx/OpenResty) with relocation to Cyprus.
We have on-site job and the relocation is a mandatory.
BrainRocket is hiring specialists who have already relocated from Russia and Belarus.
What you will do
- Design, configure, and deploy Nginx and OpenResty servers based on project requirements and best practices.
- Optimize Nginx and OpenResty configurations for performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Nginx and OpenResty deployments, including performance bottlenecks, server errors, and security vulnerabilities.
- Monitor Nginx and OpenResty servers for performance and security incidents, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Nginx and OpenResty technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and operations.
- Document Nginx and OpenResty configurations, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience and deep understanding Nginx, OpenResty (understanding of principle and methods of processing compounds).
- Strong experience with Linux at least 5 years.
- Strong understanding of web server technologies, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and caching mechanisms.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python.
- Proficiency in Lua.
- Experience with Clouds would be an advantage (AWS, Azure, GPC).
- Understanding IaC approach.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvemen.
