QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a test automation framework for the testing team.
• Set up and configure different tests on cloud and on-premise CI/CD pipeline.
• Keep test scripts pipeline up to date with new test and debug issues with existing tests as needed.
• Develop test automation against backlog.
• Maintain, execute, and create any new client scoring scripts for all platforms (long-term tests for bad behavior).
• Define new test cases as features are added.
• Perform and analyze nightly runs of the release candidate application version.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts.
• Add bugs to Jira and validate bug fixes.
• Help other QA colleagues with getting familiar with the AQA framework.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an AQA role for both UI and API (main experience) parts.
• Solid Python programming language skills.
• Object-Oriented Principles: A strong grasp of OOP principles.
• Experience in the creation of automation frameworks from scratch.
• Deep understanding of software testing principles and experience applying best practices.
• Writing test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports, testing plans, and strategies).
• Experience in developing test documentation and managing testing resources (TestRail, Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of practical Git usage.
• Experience in API testing (HTTP/WS) and tools.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka).
• Usage of monitoring and logging tools: Grafana.
• Experience with Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience in test tools (Cucumber, CI/CD tools, Tools for API testing, Swagger, JMeter).
• Good knowledge of AWS/Azure DevOps services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members.
