You will lead from the technical side, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability, while providing the necessary guidance for the team's growth in hard skills.
Responsibilities
Architectural solutions and infrastructure sustainability:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust architectural solutions.
- Ensure the sustainability and scalability of the software infrastructure.
Development estimations and technical planning:
- Provide accurate development estimations for projects.
- Participate in technical planning sessions to define project milestones and deliverables.
Leadership and mentoring:
- Mentor existing technical resources to facilitate their growth in hard skills.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, leveraging your knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Hiring developers and QA:
- Hire developers and QA professionals who align with the team's technical requirements and culture.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in C++:
- Extensive experience with C++ and familiarity with the latest standards (C++11/14/17/20).
UI frameworks and tools:
- Strong proficiency with UI frameworks such as Qt and wxWidgets.
- Experience with QML and CI setup (CMake Fetch).
Software development principles:
- Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices in software development.
Audio software development:
- Knowledge of audio processing and real-time audio data handling is highly desirable.
Cross-platform development:
- Experience developing applications for multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Problem-solving skills:
- Ability to quickly identify issues, devise effective solutions and, basically, working out of your comfort zone.
Collaboration:
- An emphasis on open communication, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment is critical.
Risk management:
- Ability to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
