We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Trading Developers Team, who ready to expand their skill set and start a career in developing tools for algorithmic trading.

The Trading Developers team focuses on trading infrastructure, including data acquisition, processing and visualization, development and maintenance of back-office systems, optimization algorithms, and reconciliations.

The career journey with our team starts with a bootcamp. The bootcamp lasts for at least one month. It is not an internship but a full-time paid position. During the bootcamp, you will solve real business problems and gain new knowledge, both in trading and in software engineering.

Stack:

Julia.
TypeScript/JavaScript + React.
PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB.
ClickHouse.
GitLab.
Grafana + Loki.
HTTP, WS, gRPC.

Tasks

Development and maintenance of applications in Julia, including API clients, infrastructure solutions, and web applications.
Creation of web dashboards and user interfaces using Typescript and React.
Working with HTTP, WebSocket, and gRPC protocols.
Interaction with the team's internal framework to implement alerting, monitoring, and analytics systems.
Working with open data and creating analytical tools in Julia.
Participation in the Julia community and contributing to its development.

Requirements

You have 2+ years of experience with one of the programming languages: C/C++/Julia/Python/Go/Rust.
Experience in web application development.
Experience in multithreaded programming.
Experience with CI/CD.
Ability to profile code to identify leaks and inefficiencies.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems.
Development of services for trading support or independent development of trading infrastructure.
Ability to work with unstructured data.
Data visualization skills.
Experience in creating and supporting products at all stages of the life cycle.
Working with databases (PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB, ClickHouse).
