Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support advertisement campaign optimization server.
• Lead the development team; know what you are doing and make sure the team around you follows your lead.
• Maintain the development process: coding standards, reviews, automated testing, release procedures, etc.
• Communicate efficiently with other development and product teams.
• Take full responsibility for your work; if the software does not work as expected, make it your problem to solve.
• Lead several development teams responsible for important areas of the IPONWEB platform - optimization, data processing, machine learning.
• Dive into the AdTech subject area, one of the most challenging in IT.
• Make fundamental technological and architectural decisions.
• Fight for all possible resources - time, processor, memory, disk, network.
• Understand algorithms, math and code (Java/C++/Scala/Python/NameIt).

Expectations

• Decent understanding of core algorithms and basic math.
• Solid experience with Java.
• Experience with C++ is a plus.
• Experience with Python 2.x/3.x is a plus.
• Strong *nix understanding and knowledge.
• Ability to work on complex code and a desire to delve into technical and business details.
• Good English reading and writing skills.
