Senior Scala Developer

What you will do

• Develop new functionality for bank card processing and related services (backend of P2P mobile applications, MPI, Antifraud, etc.).
• Maintain existing services.
• Participate in the building of the development team.
• Participate in technological improvements of existing services, infrastructure, and team processes.

What you need to succeed

• 2+ years of Scala development experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of backend development experience.
• Knowledge of standard algorithms, data structures, FP techniques and practices.
• Willingness to improve and optimize existing code.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the microservices architectural paradigm.

Nice to have:

• Experience (and real project examples) with Cats, Cats Effect, and FS2.
• SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse experience.
• Experience in development following the PCI DSS standard.
• Willingness to participate in process improvement, both within the team and at the department level.
