Database Developer (ClickHouse)

As a ClickHouse DBA, you will be responsible for

• Designing and implementing database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
• Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
• Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Providing proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
• Determining, enforcing, and documenting database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Monitoring database performance, implementing changes, and applying new patches and versions when required.

Requirements

• Strong background in database administration.
• Experience with ClickHouse specifically.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think algorithmically.
• Database design and implementation.
• Data backup and recovery.
• Database security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Query optimization.
• SQL programming.
• Linux administration.
• At least Intermediate lvl of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with MongoDB.
