We are looking for a Database Administrator (with ClickHouse expertise) to join our team in Cyprus.
As a ClickHouse DBA, you will be responsible for
- Designing and implementing database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
- Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
- Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses.
- Providing proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
- Determining, enforcing, and documenting database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Monitoring database performance, implementing changes, and applying new patches and versions when required.
Requirements
- Strong background in database administration.
- Experience with ClickHouse specifically.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think algorithmically.
- Database design and implementation.
- Data backup and recovery.
- Database security.
- Database performance tuning.
- Query optimization.
- SQL programming.
- Linux administration.
- At least Intermediate lvl of English.
