Senior QA Automation Engineer (Kotlin)

Responsibilities

• The whole range of works on the design and development of tests in Kotlin (100% Backend).
• Development of a framework for automated testing.
• Participate in creating “QA as a Service” for our developers and traders.
• Working in an environment of uncertainty and complex specifications.
• You will need to do most of the work on your own: implementing the test services, coding mocks, adjusting CI, and deeply understanding the platform for algo trading.
• Solving problems based on high-level requirements and comprehensive documentation instead of following linear task execution by technical specification.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a SDET/AQA of high-performance systems (Java/Kotlin).
• You are a master of exploratory testing, able to deeply understand and analyze complex and business-specific tasks and create scenarios for subsequent automation.
• Proficiency in SQL, including creating complex analytical queries in ClickHouse.
• Experience with Linux, Python, Docker, CI, Bash.

Would be a plus:

• User or commercial trading experience.
• Experience with WebSockets, gRPC.
• Experience setting up CI/CD from scratch.
