Responsibilities

• Decompose, estimate, implement and deliver tasks in accordance with agreed timelines within a small team in a micro-release paradigm for the high-load production platform.
• Roadmap triaging (implementation plan, dependencies, risks).
• Write automated tests for product features (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Work closely with fellow engineers to continuously improve our existing processes and tools in aim of building and delivering great products.
• Contribute your experience, knowledge and skills to drive internal strategic technology initiatives.
• Mentor, educate and support those around you.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable and reliable server-side web applications.
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals - data structures, architecture, design patterns, concurrency.
• Strong knowledge of core Java and experience with any other JVM-based language (Groovy, Kotlin, Scala).
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with design and implementation of RESTful APIs for components in a service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with frontend technologies and any JS frameworks.
• Comfortable working with Linux and command line tools.
• STEM degree or equivalent certifications is preferred.
