Responsibilities

• Design and develop test scenarios and representative datasets to cover new and existing functionality for the high-load production platform.
• Verify the functionality during the feature release process (manually, via Platform and Groovy API).
• Create automated functional tests - Cypress and Selenium test automation tools.
• Maintain and enhance test suites, participate in regular regression test runs.
• Work closely with fellow engineers to continuously improve our existing processes and tools in aim of building and delivering great products.
• Contribute your experience, knowledge and skills to drive internal strategic technology initiatives.
• Mentor, educate and support those around you.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience testing scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Proven track record of testing of complex web applications (UX, visualisations, business logic, etc.).
• Successful application of one of the programming languages for test automation (Java, Python, Ruby, etc.).
• Experience with testing of RESTful APIs for components in a service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with Linux and command line tools.
