Our company is dedicated to enhancing the online shopping experience, through our product, Slash. Slash.com is a browser extension that provides a value-adding checkout button for online shopping. When enabled, Slash allows users to purchase goods at a lower price, making shopping with over 150 of the largest online retailers in the UK, cheaper and more enjoyable. The product is central to our company; it is what users see and what they love.
As a Product, you will report directly to the CEO, working closely with the CEO, CMO, Head of Engineering, and the development team. Your role will require you to assume ownership of the product roadmap and features, manage the product/UX designer to deliver complete product features and own the metrics associated with the product. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of features, delivered on time, in close collaboration with our engineering team.
What makes this role stand out
- You'll have the opportunity to be involved in creating a product that's set to shift the online shopping landscape. Our team is pushing boundaries and redefining what's possible by moving beyond traditional cashback and promo code extensions. Instead, we're focusing on a more straightforward, efficient shopping experience — a simple click and users can enjoy lower prices automatically.
- This role isn't just another job — it's a chance to immerse yourself in the development of a brand-new product. Expect interesting challenges that will deepen your understanding of product management and user experience.
- Moreover, you'll be an integral part of our team, helping to determine the future of online shopping. As our product manager, your input will be crucial to our mission, allowing you to leave a tangible impact on our product and its users.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product roadmap, steering Slash towards significant growth with a heavy focus on enhancing user experience and conversion rates.
- Execute rigorous user research and interviews to deeply understand our customers, their behaviors, and their needs to optimize UX and drive conversions.
- Collaborate closely with the product/UX designer and the engineering team to develop and deliver features that drive customer sat and business towards the goals.
- Own, manage, and optimize key product metrics including business indicators and user satisfaction.
- Utilize Amplitude to manage our user analytics stack, analyzing data to make better decisions.
- Apply a lean approach to establish, test, and implement hypotheses, prioritizing ideas that solve the most important problems faster and cheaper.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience.
- Proven experience leading product management on the web, with a preference for experience in e-commerce platforms and with a strong emphasis on user experience and conversion rate optimization (we are focusing on the web experience, and we are not particularly interested in mobile apps for the time being).
- Familiarity with browser extensions and their functionality is highly desirable.
- Ability to define, analyze, and respond to key product metrics.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Exceptional understanding of CRO strategies and principles.
- Fluent Russian and near-fluent English to communicate with our team and understand our users.
Advantages:
- Responsibility: you will own key product indicators and be responsible for making sure the product achieves business goals while providing a seamless user experience.
- Proactivity: in order to drive the product forward, we need someone who doesn't wait for problems or opportunities to come to them.
- Diligence: our ideal candidate is hardworking and dedicated, striving to deliver on all tasks and projects.
