We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help develop one of the major core components that lies at the heart of our infrastructure: the object storage with S3-compatible interface.

You’re welcome to work in our office in Serbia or hybrid.

Responsibilities

Provide service fault-tolerance for our customers 24/7/365.
Automate procedures for storage maintenance.
Increase scaling factor and deploying storage to tens of thousands of nodes.
Improve user experience and storage user scenarios.
Minimise response time and optimize resource usage.

Expectations

Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols.
Experience with Go, Python, or C++ and version control systems like Git or SVN.
Understanding of containerization tools like LXC, LXD, Docker.

It would be an added bonus if you had:

Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, etc.) and distributed storage systems.
Knowledge of configuration management systems, e.g. Ansible, Salt, Chef.
Experience building high load systems and distributing hundreds of gigabits of traffic per second.
