DevOps Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Automating and accelerating the process of developing, testing and deploying software.
• Ensuring code is quickly and reliably deployed to production through continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of applications/websites using monitoring and logging systems.

Skills required

• Experience in managing server infrastructure, setting up and configuring servers and networks. It is important to understand how the various components of a server infrastructure work and how to tune them for optimal performance.
• Experience with a variety of system tools and software is required, including version control, configuration control systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef), monitoring and logging systems (e.g. ELK, Grafana, Prometheus), and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required. Understanding how to deploy and configure applications in the cloud, how to scale infrastructure, and how to manage cloud resources is so important.
• Communication Skills: It is critical to be able to communicate effectively with various team members, including developers, QA engineers, project managers, and more.
• Experience with Kubernetes and deployment of ML clusters is preferred.
• English level B2.
